vpod.tv was a sponsor yesterday of the Next Web conference in Amsterdam. Together with AtlasVenture, we hosted the ElevatorPitch session in the hotel's elevator (where the venue was located). There are about 20 videos: you'll see general partner Fred Destin explain the concept, a journalist cover the event, entrepreneurs pitch, VCs give feedback, and who the team thought were potential winners.
Lay back and watch.

Great stuff to see them sweat and hear what kind of impression they made. Really great stuff. Learned a lot.

Rodrigo; amazed you came given [...] ! And then you posted the material! It turned out better than i expected and hopefully gave a bit of an insight, if slightly staged, into how to produce a decent 30 second pitch on your business. Really enjoyed it, thanks again for supporting this effort. I hope you got some good news on [...]in the meantime./ Fred /
PS for those who wonder why Rodrigo was not forced to go through the exercise, rest assured, he produces a killer 30 second pitch ;-)

Fred> it's all about risk management, right ? And still no news as of now.
Was fun to make, I hope folks will be able to use some of the material / feedback in real life situations.
Let's do it again some time.
