Many of our users are sometimes in a hurry, and only need to grab information about their videos in a snap.
Some of them, sometimes, are in environments of a foregone era, running Internet Explorer 5.x or 6.x, or firefox 1.0.x. They have told us their frustration of not being able to quickly watch a video, share it, buzz it, or comment it.
For them, vpod.tv has created a very slimmed-down version of its award-winning (see them on the left column :) backoffice platform, the vpod.tv Studio. We have called it the "light" version. We do not intend to replicate all the functional richness of the Studio, but to bring the simpler tools such as the HTML code, the buzz links, the RSS feeds (including the new Netvibes widget creator), the downloadable formats, etc. all in one simple page for each video, accessible through a Permalink. Indeed, most of the intelligence of the platform is already available withing the vpod.tv player.
It should launch in the next few hours. Please help us enhance it and take it out of alpha :)
